With so much mobility, the shoulder is prone to muscle and tendon injuries, dislocations and pain. A tumble from cycling can injure the shoulder joint, and even fracture the clavicle and arm. Stiffness in the shoulder is likewise not normal. The shoulder is meant to be free and uninhibited by pain or stiffness.
